Historically, black businesses have had disproportionately less access to capital, making them far more vulnerable to sudden downturns.

As a result, when the events of 2020 hit their peak, black-owned businesses were closing at an alarming rate. Which is why, starting on #BlackoutDay2020, Dickies decided to give its platform to people who needed it more.
